Mistress Cyan was introduced to The Lifestyle in 1989, and has since become a well-respected Leader in The Los Angeles BDSM and Leather Communities.  She is known for her charity and dedication to The Community and for Her skills with a Singletail.  She is always looking to "give back" to the Community she loves in any way she can. Mistress Cyan has held Her Annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Slave Auctions for seven years and raised more than $5000 in food & supplies for the needy in 2005, as well as more than $1700 for the Katrina victims. In 2006, more than 32.000 people were fed as a result of Mistress Cyan’s efforts.  

Mistress Cyan is the only person in Southern California , if not the entire country, who has produced major conventions, promoted a fetish nightclub, performed at many major fetish clubs and events, produces a Leather Contest, owns Her own Dungeon and is also active in the BDSM and Leather Lifestyle. She is the Founder & Organizer of DomCon LA and DomCon Atlanta,  both of which are now in their fifth year,, and is the Owner/Operator of Sanctuary in Los Angeles .   Mistress Cyan was invited to become a member of The Los Angeles Leather Coalition in 2005 after receiving six nominations in the 2005 Southland Honors. She then received seven more nominations in the 2006 Southland Honors and was presented The Fundraiser of The Year Award for 2006. She also received eight nominations in the 2006 Pantheon of Leather Awards 

and was presented The 2006 Pantheon of Leather Community Choice (Woman) Award. In March of 2007, The Los Angeles Leather Coalition presented Mistress Cyan with The Mentor of The Year Award for 2007.  In 2008, She was awarded The Treasurers Award for Her fundraising eforts over the past three years

She was honored to be a Judge in The 2006 Mr L.A. Leather Contest, the first time such an honor has been bestowed on a member of the Transgender Community. Mistress Cyan was also chosen to represent The Los Angeles Leather Community as a Judge for The Los Angeles Pride Parade in 2006 and has been awarded The 2007 Connie Norman Award for Community Service and Leadership by CSW/LA Pride.

Mistress Cyan is always there to help others. She mentors others and helps educate The BDSM and Learher Communities  by teaching classes and presenting  workshops. She has been featured as a Presenter at Club FEM Los Angeles, Orange Coast Leather Association’s Taster, Threshold’s Carnal Carnival, Los Angeles Pride, Long Beach Prode,Great Lakes Leather Alliance Weekend in Indianapolis , DomCon Los Angeles, DomCon Atlanta and has been invited to present at Ottawa Ne Keather in 2008.

 Mistress Cyan has performed at The Los Angeles Fetish Ball, The Los Angeles Bondage Ball, The Los Angeles Rubber Ball, Erotic City , LA Pride, Long Beach Pride, Club Fetish, Club DV8 and more, as well as at shows all over the USA including San Francisco , New York , Las Vegas , Tampa and Atlanta .

Mistress Cyan is a progressive and innovative thinker. She is not afraid to set new standards, break new ground or accept responsibility.  In February 2007, she, and Sanctuary, became the first pansexual organization in Los Angeles to sponsor a feeder contest and select a Leather Titleholder to represent Sanctuary in The 2007 Mr Los Angeles Leather Contest. She has served as President of two of the largest FemDom groups in Los Angeles and served on The Board of Advisors for The Los Angeles Chapter of Club FEM. She is currently an active member of The Los Angeles Leather Coalition Fundraising Committee and participates on The Los Angeles Leather Pride Committee and  the LA Pride/Erotic City Board. She is The 2007 Committee Chairperson for the committee in charge of Sponsorship and Vendors.

In March of 2009, at The Los Angeles Leather Week's Southland Honors, Mistress Cyan was named 2009 Fundraiser of The Year Award for the second time in four years. In May, 2009. Mistress Cyan was  presented the prestigious Pantheon of Leather 2009 Woman of The Year Award.
